Performance Demonstrations of Sigma

In the figures below, we present measurement outcomes obtained through the Sigma General Impedance Analyzer with FR-EX2, IM-EX and HI-PR extended options, All measurements are done with 50cm BNC Cables between sample holder and analyzer. Sampling time 0.5s or 1 Cycle.

Sigma – short circuit calibration standard – measured impedance ~10mΩ in Basic Range

Sigma – 100Ω calibration standard – measured phase ~10m° in Basic Range

Sigma – open electrodes – measured capacity never exceeds 86fF

Sigma – 100pF calibration standard – measured Tan δ < 2e-4 in Basic Range

Sigma – 1nF Polyester Capacitor – undercompensated with an inductance of a wire in series

Sigma – Resistor Capacitor network (100pF || [470pF + 20kΩ] || [2nF + 10MΩ])

Sigma – Resistor Capacitor network (200Ω + [1kΩ || 100pF] + [2kΩ || 1µF])
